We believe there's a hidden left-wing bias in most mainstream Australian news reporting. We openly declare our reporting is from a non-left classical liberal traditional Aussie perspective. The show is written and hosted by former ABC, Network Ten and talk-radio (3AW, 2UE, 4BC) journalist, Damian Coory.
Our philosophy on media and news...
It’s impossible to have zero bias, but it's not impossible to be open and honest about it!
Working on a shoestring budget, we do our bit to present the news from ‘the other side’ to the current dominant mainstream media perspective which we feel has a heavy 'hidden' left-wing bias.
When we express opinions, you can agree or disagree knowing that we’re open about where we’re coming from: a centre-right ‘classical liberal’ position – the values that made Australia great and which we think most Aussies still share – good old-fashioned common-sense views and a world where we unite as Aussies who judge people on merit, not divide them on race, gender or sexuality.
We also believe in supporting small business and much much smaller government - to put control back in the hands of private Australians cooperating and creating our common wealth voluntarily - not centralised government control ruling over us by force without the daily accountability a free market and society demands.

How we're funded
We believe new media shows (and all old media shows too) should be as open and transparent as possible about how they are funded.
Our editorial (writing, creative and presenting) and business and marketing costs are funded by viewers like you. As at Aug 2025, we have about 220 monthly supporters through this website. Our goal for the end of 2025 is 1,000 supporters. Damian has worked mostly voluntarily since the show was founded in 2020, because he believes passionately in the need for better, more balanced, smarter reporting and debate on the issues that matter to our nation.
Our video production costs are covered by a generous passive donor who, in 2023, saw what we were doing and decided they wanted to help. This support is on the condition that they have no say whatsoever in editorial content of the show. This donor is a truly great Australian. They are in the retail industry but don't want any advertising in return for their support. We will never accept donations from politically sensitive industries such as renewable energy, oil and gas, pharmaceutical companies or from political parties, etc.
